FIVE THINGS I WANT TO DO IN 2019

First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! I hope you all enjoy your Christmas and have an absolutely amazing day. As the new year inches closer and closer, I am putting together my plans for 2019. I say it every year but 2019 is going to my year. It’s the year I turn 21 and I don’t want to reach 21 without having my glow up. Here are the five things I want to focus on most in 2019!

#1: LEARN HOW TO DRIVE

I’ve been putting this off for a very long time and I finally feel ready. I’m not sure if my bank account is as ready as I am for this but it’s definitely something I want to do next year. I don’t want to be relying on lifts forever, even if I do believe I was born to be chauffeured (I promise this is a joke, I’m not that big-headed). Even if I don’t buy a car, I just want to get my license.

#2: FOCUS ON HEALTH AND CONFIDENCE GAINS

This is going to be a huge part of my 2019!! I am forbidding myself to describe my health journey as weight loss, for me it kind of ruins my motivation thinking about it like that. Instead this year, I will be focusing on my journey as gains – muscle gains, confidence gains, health gains etc. I will be posting about this in January so keep your eyes peeled for that if you’re interested.

#3: STEP UP MY BLOGGING GAME

I’m going to toot my own horn for a minute and say that I have made massive strides with my blog in 2018 and I am beyond proud of myself. That being said, I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement. In 2019, I really want to step my game up even more. I also may be restarting my YouTube channel which is super exciting.

#4: START COOKING MORE HOMEMADE FOODS

Being a student and all-around-lazy-girl, I like to cook things that take less than twenty minutes. I am a microwave magnet so any foods that can be shoved in the microwave for a few minutes then be eaten is what I eat most nights. I am well aware that this is no good for me. Next year, I want to start cooking a lot more homemade foods and learn some amazing new recipes to try out!

#5: REJOIN THE GYM 

I joined my local gym for the first time this March and I loved going. It was my form of therapy to go on the treadmill and walk it out for a few miles. I’ve put off going back since I stopped going in the summer but I’ve promised myself I will be joining again in January and going as often as I can. I live like a ten-minute walk away from my gym so I really have no excuses not to go.
