upcoming albums that I’m hyped for

I friggin’ love music. It’s probably my best friend in the world which sounds super strange but is 100% the truth. I’m forever on the lookout for someone new to listen to. One thing I like to do at the start of the year is have a look at the albums that will be dropping in the year. So, here it is, the albums I’m looking forward to the most. Side note, some of these are due for release in 2019 and some in early 2020. They aren’t in order of release because some of them don’t have their release date yet.

Lana Del Rey – Norman Fucking Rockwell

Ever since I went through my sad girl phase as 2012 I have been a huge fan of Lana Del Rey. Her voice is undeniably beautiful. I love how well she is able to blend a mixture of old Hollywood feel with a new alternative vibe. Every album that Lana has dropped thus far has turned into one of my favourites so I have no doubts that Norman Fucking Rockwell will blow my mind.

Miley Cyrus – She Is Miley Cyrus

In late 2019, Miley is dropping her latest album which will be a compilation of three six-track EPs that will be released prior. We’ve had our first taste of Miley’s new album with the SHE IS COMING EP which I loved! I can’t wait to see what the other EPs have in store and what the album sounds like as a whole.

The 1975 – Notes On a Conditional Form

My love for The 1975 stems from the same sad girl phase that my love for Lana did too. The 1975 are my favourite band in the whole wide world and everything they release makes my heart happy. Their new album won’t be dropping until the 21st of Febuary, I think so we still have a long wait but it’ll be bloody worth it.

SZA – SZA2

Now, SZA’s album isn’t actually called SZA2 but the name hasn’t been made public yet so it’s all speculation until it is. SZA has slowly become one of my favourite female artists to listen to. Her slow R&B vibe literally takes me to another planet.

♡ Are there any albums that you’re excited for?
