It’s been a hot minute since my last life update which is actually the first thing I posted on my blog after I threw a hissy fit and deleted a year’s worth of hard work. I never really know when to write these life updates because nothing exciting ever really happens in my little life haha. But I’d really like to do these updates on the reg so that you can have a peek into my life.
Lost my Nan
I lost my Nan in May so it’s almost six months since she’s been gone. Losing my Nan was so hard, it really knocked me around. It was super unexpected and it happened so quickly and I still genuinely feel like I’m missing a bit of my heart with her being gone. I’m not sure if that’ll ever change but I feel a little less raw now.
My Nan was such a huge part of my life. She was the strong women I had ever known. She taught me so many lessons that will stay with forever. I’m super blessed to have known such a wonderful woman. I spoke a little more about my experience losing my Nanny Yvonne in this Instagram post.
Went to Poland
On a happier note, in September, Liam and I took ourselves off to Krakow! It’s the first time I’ve been on a proper city break and I loved it. I wrote about what we did on our trip in this blog post. Krakow was full of so much beautiful culture and it was literally one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in my life.
Going to Poland has definitely given me the inspo to take more city breaks!! A few places that I’d like to visit soon are Amsterdam, Budapest, Paris and Rome. I’ve got such a travel bug at the moment so I’ve been looking up holidays since the day we got back to England.
Started my third year of uni
At the end of September, I started my third year of university and to be honest, it’s been a wild ride already. I’ve already nearly had about three breakdowns but I’m just trying to stay positive and do my best. I’ve heard the word ‘dissertation’ about a thousand times already and I’m going to cry if I hear it again.
On a real note though, I’m feeling really positive and motivated for my third year. Though I’m terrified of what’s going to come after, I’m also really excited to see what happens when I leave. Pray for me, please…
Celebrated four years of being with Liam
I’m very open about my long-distance relationship on here and on my social media and well, everywhere else. Sorry to anyone who gets annoyed by how much I talk about my boyfriend I just loooove him.
Honestly in the last few years, I’ve come so far from how I was when I was a teenager, I spoke a little about this when on this Insta post! He’s really helped me on my self-development journey and he’s like my little cheerleader. I can’t wait to celebrate more years with him.
Started my manifestation journey
Manifestation and the Law of Attraction have been interests of mine since before I even fully started my personal growth journey. I’ve always kinda known about it but I’ve never really immersed myself into it. Well, I’ve decided to start my own lil’ manifestation journey.
I’ve already manifested a few little things so I’m excited to start getting bigger as I go along. The whole process has really changed how I view life events and things that go on in life. Maybe, when I’m a little more confident with it I’ll share some tips or some things that I’ve manifested within my own life.
