Well hello there, October. It’s lovely to see you again. As you probably know from my 1000 tweets over the last few months I’ve been begging for autumn to be here. I personally feel like I thrive during the autumn months. Being an autumn baby might have something to do with that though!
October signifies the last quarter of the year so I’m feeling super motivated to make some big changes before the new year rolls in. I don’t have as many goals this month but that’s because I wanted to give myself a better chance to get the important goals sorted before the new year.
Is anyone else already planning 2020 or am I just mad?
Anywho, let’s get into my October mood board…
Law of Attraction
I’ve been interested in LoA for a while but I’ve never fully immersed myself into it and tried to manifest something purposefully. The reason that I feel ready to dive in headfirst is because I’m pretty sure I manifested my trip to Poland.
There’s a video on my Instagram of me flicking over the Krakow page in a travel brochure. I printed a photo of Krakow out and put it on my wall sooo I think that my thinking about it and being positive about going may have helped me manifest it.
I know it sounds a little woo-woo but I’m really into it. I purchased a 90 Day Manifestation planner from Vibe + Flow that I’ve been using it since October 1st and I’m loving it! I’ve got a few things I want to manifest and I’m just letting the universe do it’s thang.
In the last week of September, my third year of university officially began and I am terrified. Even hearing the word ‘dissertation’ sends a shiver down my spine. With that being said, I’m really motivated to do well this year.
I’ve been getting myself really prepared during these last few weeks just to put myself in the best position possible. In my last two years, I’ve been a little bit of a skiver so I’m not going to continue that habit this year.
Overall, I feel good but at the same time, it’s a scary time of my life because after finishing uni I have to venture into the ‘real’ world and I can’t decide whether I’m excited about that or not.
Finishing university next year means being a step closer to getting to live with Liam. We’ve currently got our Help to Buy ISA set up and a little savings account on the side for anything we might need for when we buy the house.
Saving for a house is probably the biggest thing for me right now. I want to close the distance with Liam so it’s a big priority of mine to squirrel away what I can. I’m terrible with money but I am really trying my best!
I’m still on my lil’ health journey and I’m taking it a lot more seriously right now. I’m going on holiday next year and graduating so I want to look bomb for both those occasions.
I also want to feel healthier in myself. My families history of health problems isn’t the most inspiring thing to think about so I want to be preventing any problems that may arise in my future by taking care of myself now.
My Fitbit steps have dropped dramatically while I haven’t been at uni so I’m determined to get back up to 10k a day now!
After nearly four years of being able to learn how to drive, I’ve finally stopped putting it off and I’ve booked my first lesson. I won’t lie to you, I’m crapping myself but this is something I really need to do before moving up North.
I’ve been putting it off for ages because I’m quite intimidated by the gears but then I realised that I can just learn in an automatic…duh. Why didn’t I think of that ages ago?
So wish me luck and if you live in Telford, stay off the roads!
♡ What are your plans for October?
